• WSF in Nairobi in 2007 has been the biggest civil society  event in African ever organized  with around 50000 participants and 1300 organisation co -organizing 1200 activitiies

• Nairobi 2007 has also been  a wsf event with a specific arrangement in the last day : 21 proposal sessions by theme where groups of organisation were invited to present their proposals for social change - over 300 proposals were presented and a public list is here -
  
• for each proposal a proposal group has been initiated , if you are registered in the site and  willing to further cooperate with the first proposal promoters you can select the corresponding group and ask to join , mentioning your organisation  see  the list here
